Our story
From EIN Express to a full-service alliance
EPA didn't start as a general firm. We started with a specific mission: making the US tax system accessible to people who aren't US citizens.
We began as EIN Express, a specialized provider helping foreign nationals obtain EINs and ITINs — the two most confusing, most critical pieces of the US tax puzzle for non-residents. Over time, our clients kept asking for more: tax returns, business formation, bookkeeping, compliance.
So we evolved. Today, EPA serves both US citizens and international clients as a complete professional services partner — while never losing the specialized focus on cross-border and international needs that made us who we are.
The beginning
Founded as EIN Express
Specialized in EIN and ITIN services for non-US citizens and foreign nationals who needed US tax identification numbers.

Enrolled Agent
Federally licensed by the IRS — the highest credential available to a US tax professional. EAs pass a rigorous 3-part IRS exam covering all aspects of taxation and have unlimited rights to represent any taxpayer before the IRS for audits, collections, appeals, and all other matters.
CAA
IRS Certified Acceptance Agent
Authorized by the IRS to certify identity documents for ITIN applications. As CAAs, we verify your passport and supporting documents ourselves — you never have to mail your original passport internationally, eliminating risk, delay, and stress.
CPA
Certified Public Accountant
State-licensed accounting professionals who have passed the Uniform CPA Examination. Our CPAs bring deep expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and complex tax strategy — especially for businesses and high-net-worth individuals navigating multi-state or international obligations.
